Dual Process Carpet Cleaning

(Tip: This is the best way in restorative cleaning though tedious and laborious but better result)

This involves shampooing a carpet using a floor machine that has a solution tank and a carpet brush. The carpet is then rinsed using an extractor.

This method gives the solution more dwell time and increased agitation which will produce a cleaner carpet.

Advantage:

Increased efficiency of both methods especially when limited powered portable extraction units are used. Preconditioning in this manner gives chemicals more dwelling time and the incresed agitation improves cleaning results.

DisAdvantage:

More equipment is needed. Setup and production time is also increased. Problems associated with overwetting can occur if operator is not extremely careful and does not maintain equipment properly. The possibility of fiber distortion must be guarded against especially on cut pile carpets. Higher equipment and chemical costs.
